We work with you as partners. We act as your consultant, counseling and guiding you regarding all the many choices of designs, products and features available. We discuss the cost of each choice and its pros and cons. We help you become an informed and educated buyer.

We will work with you to select one of our standard plans or to completely design your custom dream home. We have so many design ideas to share with you and we feel we can bring a very high level of taste and refinement to the design of your home.

It would take page after page to itemize all of the high-quality construction details and features that go into a Heritage Home - and that's exactly what each homebuyer is given. You get detailed, written specifications and plans. You will know each item going into your home. Our goal is to avoid any surprise and to avoid disappointing you.

Once we know all the choices you have made, we bid and price them aggressively. The cost of all your choices adds up to be the total cost. We guarantee to build your home for that cost. Your home will not cost a penny more unless you later change the scope of the work or unless you exceed your allowance amount. (And we attempt to establish your allowance amount so that they are honest and realistic amounts in the first place).

We counsel you so you can make wise, cost-effective choices.

We shop for the best values and work with our quality trade-contractors to get the lowest possible costs. Quality work is number one, but then the cost becomes a critical second factor. Our quantity buying and the constant efforts of our purchasing director produce valuable results for you.

We educate you regarding building a home so you have knowledgeable and realistic expectations. We give you a construction schedule for your home so you can monitor the progress of your home and can make sure it is being built on time. Also, our builders build from a very detailed computerized schedule with hundreds of items on it, so no detail is overlooked and construction proceeds as quickly as possible.

Only after you have approved the plans, specifications, guaranteed costs and schedule, do you enter into the written Home Construction Agreement. Then, your mortgage lender reviews the documents, approves them and construction begins.

We welcome your active participation and visits to your home as it is being constructed. You can be on-site as often as you like. We don't cut corners or hide things. Rather, we're proud to have you closely observe how we are building your home.

You can be as involved in the details, or not involved as you choose. For many of our home buyers, participating in the design details and selecting features and products is great fun. We share this view because we are passionate about what we do and enjoy participating in designing and creating your home! Other homebuyers prefer to leave most of the details to us, and that's fine too. Even if you're out of the state or out of the country, you can entrust all the details to us. We will communicate via email, digital photography, mail, fax, and telephone calls.

Our builders are very experienced and knowledgeable. They care about doing excellent work and building homes characterized by structural integrity and high quality. You will find them to be honest people who are a pleasure to deal with. They will fully and constantly communicate with you. Our builders' number one goal is the same as everyone's at Heritage Homes: your satisfaction!

You are kept fully informed at every step of construction. When construction is complete, you and we conduct final inspections to make sure all the details have been properly attended to. A homeowner's orientation is also held to explain details of operating your home's equipment.

After you move into your beautiful new home, we provide warranty work for a full year - and not just at the end of the year. Instead we do any needed service work 60 days after you move in and again at 6 months after you move in, then 1 year after you've moved in.
